How do I reserve a tailgate package?

Simply visit the link here, choose your game and package, and complete checkout.

Where are the tailgates located?

Tailgates are located right outside Vackar Stadium in the designated tailgate area along S Raul Longoria Rd.

Prior to renting tailgate equipment, please contact tickets@utrgv.edu or assistant athletic director Nick Swanson at (956) 665‑4205 to receive a tailgate space.

What time will my tailgate be ready?

Your tailgate will be fully set up and ready before the official tailgate opens, five hours prior to kickoff.

Do I need a game ticket to tailgate?

No—game tickets are not required to enter any of the tailgate areas.

What does Quality Tents handle?

Quality Tents manages all setup and teardown for turnkey packages in both the H‑E‑B Tailgate Zone and the North & South Tailgate Lots. They also provide on-site customer support throughout game day.

Are there onsite add-ons?

Absolutely! Turnkey packages can be enhanced with grills, coolers, entertainment and more, delivered right for your tailgate.

What happens after the game?

When the game ends, Quality Tents handles the cleanup and takedown so you can head home without the hassle.
